PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Build skill, widen what you can do, and add new underwater adventures. If you already hold Open Water Diver and want more confidence and experience, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is the next step. The course is built around in-water practice: better skills, better dive planning, and a wider set of dives with a certified PADI Instructor. Programme length: 2 to 3 days. Five adventure dives: • Underwater navigation — headings, compass use, and confident travel • Deep dive — planning and making a deep dive safely • Three further adventure dives chosen from what the site and your interests allow. Options may include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night, Search and Recovery, Digital Underwater Photographer, Fish Identification, Wreck, and Enriched Air (Nitrox) when requirements are met You gain better comfort underwater, more precise buoyancy and navigation, experience in different settings, stronger planning and decision-making, and qualification to dive to a maximum of 30 metres as an adult diver within training, experience, and suitable conditions. Certification follows five adventure dives and all knowledge and performance requirements to PADI standards. Elective dives depend on sites, equipment, and conditions.
