About the course

Good underwater navigation is observation, correct compass use, and reading the site — not luck. The course develops heading, distance estimation, and a clear dive track so you can return to the exit with more structure. Programme length: 2 days. Three training dives cover compass use, holding a heading, out-and-back and multi-leg patterns, kick-cycle and time distance, natural features, combining compass and natural navigation, holding depth, buoyancy, and heading together, relocating a submerged object, slate planning, buddy task-sharing, and reduced visibility. The specialty does not raise depth limits. Training stays within qualification, experience, and site conditions. Requirements, terms and conditions apply.
