PADI Tec 50 Diver

PADI Tec 50 is the last stage of the core open-circuit Tec 40 / 45 / 50 path. Programme length is 5 days. You plan extended technical dives to 50 m with multiple mandatory stops and two dedicated decompression gases. Training covers multi-stage decompression tables, bottom gas plus two deco gases and emergency reserves, two stage cylinders, gas analysis and labelling, precise switches, buoyancy through multiple stops, contingency planning, gas sharing, DSMB as a decompression reference, and team leadership. Within training limits you may dive to 50 m, run multiple-stop accelerated decompression with two gases, use nitrox or oxygen up to 100% O₂ as planned, and manage extended open-circuit technical dives. Trimix is a later path after its own requirements. The course does not qualify you for overhead environments or depths beyond 50 m, and it does not include Trimix unless that training is completed separately. Requirements, terms and conditions apply.
