PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox)

About the course

Enriched air (nitrox) uses more oxygen and less nitrogen than air, which can give longer no-decompression times, especially on repetitive dives. Programme length: 2 days. You learn mix properties, benefits and limits, oxygen exposure and maximum operating depth (MOD), analysing and labelling cylinders, setting the dive computer, planning nitrox dives, and handling dedicated equipment safely. Nitrox does not increase maximum dive depth; the mix MOD may be shallower than air. The course therefore centres on analysis, computer settings, and oxygen-exposure control. Schedule, cost, cylinder availability, and operations follow the dive centre’s terms. Optional application dives may be offered according to the approved programme.
