Two boat training dives: staging, entries and exits, and safety procedures. Procedures vary with boat type, site, and conditions.
PADI Boat Diver covers trip preparation, staging gear, entries and exits, and the procedures used on different boats. Programme length: 2 days. You learn boat types and terms, securing equipment, crew instructions, entry and exit methods, descent and current lines, emergency kit and recall signals, seasickness, boat etiquette, and two open-water dives from a boat with a certified PADI Instructor. Procedures vary with boat type, site, and conditions. Attend the briefing, follow the captain and dive crew, and know entry, exit, and recall signals before you enter the water.
